We asked for their cheapest room, and it was pretty grungy - the AC had no working buttons, the bathroom was dark, the beds too soft...you get what you pay for I guess. We didn't really care: we just wanted access to that very nice pool. (However, from 4 pm to 8 pm, the friendly pool bartender blasts annoying pop music ruining the atmosphere, so we only used the pool until the music started) . One other compliment: staff allowed us to store our leftovers in the breakfast room's fridge which we really appreciated.
Great location near the bus station so it was easy to catch the first bus out 2 days in a row to the Falls.

We stayed here as part of an organised tour. Our room was very dated (bathroom, furniture, everything really), not the cleanest and had a g-string hanging in our shower when we arrived (what the ?????). While we didn't swim in the pool it was unexpectedly impressive, it looks relatively new and well maintained. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special.

However the staff were a bit grumpy in the mornings. Breakfast not brilliant, but filled a hole. Room comfortable, dark as no view and kept curtains drawn. A/C ok once got it working, go to reception if a problem. Good location. Out of hotel left then right at lights, down hill into town, quite busy at night. Straight across lights and a few restaurants along the road. Bakery to left where you can get water food etc for your day at the falls.
Pool area good especially in mornings, nice and quiet and cool.

Spacious rooms, standard and breakfast alright. Nice pool and perfect ambiente for a laid back evening after having visited the Catarates. A bit off from city center, still close to restaurants, shops and the like. Very good price-performance-relation.

ok...so I stayed here as part of an intrepid hotel...it was ok....not perfect...but bearable...
the cons - dirty towels with stains on them and bathroom in general was very old and needed to be renovated basically. The rooms otherwise were ok...noise carries from the lobby and dining area. Wifi only available in reception and not in rooms, and not exactly reliable or easy to get on.

I stayed here only because it was part of a tour. The place is rather run down. The bad thing is that they have adjoining doors in most of the rooms. When I was resting I could literally hear the ruffles of the person in the next room unpacking. They do have a phone & TV in the room though.

I went over to the reception and asked if any other single room has no adjoining rooms. I was in luck but it was so close to the lobby that I could hear the noise from there too. A pair of ear plugs did the trick. This place is close to Iguazu Falls though.

Room Tip: When you check in make sure you do not have adjoining doors with the room next to you.

I stayed here for 2 night's when we visited the falls while on an Intrepid tour. I thought it was a cute little hotel in a nice little location with easy access to bars and shops. The room its self was nice and clean and the bathrooms were massive! We enjoyed many hours just chilling by the pool with the bar in the corner. There was a nice lobby area where you could get free wifi which was a bonus. The breakfast was a nice little selection of food and the fruit was lovely.
I thought it was a lovely little place, i don't know what everyone it complaining about! :)
