We stayed for 3 nights, Wed 6 to Sat 9 April.
Upon checked in, we were given a room in level 4 with view of the river which was just okay but it did not have a balcony. The bell-boy who took our suitcases up to the room, told us that views in the other side of same level were better and he was right as we checked it out. They offered us to change rooms for an additional US$100 charge over 3 nights stay. We were happy to pay this extra charge as we were staying in Iguazu only for a short period. It is worth it, especially at night, it is wonderful to watch the sunset from the balcony.
Breakfast which is complementary in most of the hotels in Argentina, was great and in abundant. We didn’t have lunch or dinner at the restaurant as we wanted to try the local restaurants.
It is a good looking property and the pool is fantastic, very relaxing after a long day at the falls. The sunset from the pool and outdoor spa should not be missed!
There is a casino at the hotel which we didn’t visit. After you check in, you are given a voucher to use it in the pockets machines and a complementary drink voucher.
Around 6pm, there is a lady next to pool that provides a complementary 15’ massage. Obviously, she is trying to book you in for a full massage for some other day. I booked myself in for one hour massage after a long day at the falls ($150 pesos). I have to say that the massage was very average and I wouldn’t recommend it, especially for the high price.
The hotel is located only a short stroll from town and it is safe to walk at night; it is not dark at all as some reviews claimed.
The staff at the hotel are super friendly, helpful and attentive, keep up the good service.
We would definitely come back to this hotel in Iguazu.
Tip: a cab ride to the airport from the hotel is $100 (Pesos)
