The Iguazu Jungle Lodge is a beautiful hotel located about 6 blocks from the centre of town and the bus station. It is a somewhat uphill walk from the hotel to town and the streets are made of cobblestone so they are very rough. The grounds are attractive and well-groomed. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff and served a cool, citrus drink. The staff spoke good English. Luggage was transported over the cobblestone road by golf-cart.

We were astonished when we were shown our room. The front door opened into a full-sized kitchen with round table and 4 chairs. There were sliding doors to a sunny balcony. Our living room had a sofa, chair, table and fireplace. The bedroom had a queen-sized bed and sliding doors to a large corner balcony overlooking the jungle and bridge to Brazil. We wished that we were staying for a week! The only shortcoming of this hotel was that the kitchen had dishes but no basic food supplies like coffee or sugar. We had an entire kitchen and couldn't even make a cup of coffee. I used a saucepan to boil water for tea but had no sugar. The large kitchen sink was great for washing out a few clothes and the laundry was completely dry after a few hours on the balcony. There was excellent temperature control with 2 separate air-conditioning units in the bedroom and living room area. Since outdoor humidex readings were above 40 C, this feature was very much appreciated. We had very good, free internet access.

The pool area was great with lots of chairs both in the shade and in the sun. Water in the pool was warm.

We had a nice meal at the Romantica restaurant overlooking the pool. The food was quite salty but tasty and good portion sizes. Breakfast was served in the same dining room. It was quite extensive with fruit, juices, cereal, pastries, eggs and yogurt.

We had arranged for pick-up at the airport by the hotel van and they were there to pick us up on time. They also provided a taxi for our morning trip to the Iguazu Falls the first morning. We returned to town by local bus and used the bus the next day. We walked back and forth from the hotel to the bus station in town.

We would highly recommend this hotel to our friends.

This could be possibly the nicest lodge I have stayed. This lodge has everything and beautiful scenery. There is a full sized kitchenette with long panel glass overlooking the forest. People can enjoy the on-site restaurant and pool.

Room Tip: I only stayed in one lodge.

Our group of six was delighted to stay at the Iguazu Jungle Lodge March 2013. This is the kind of hotel where any request would be met with a smile and quick service. One night we wanted to eat in our room/kitchen, and the restaurant brought dinner to us!
Beautiful site with a nice pool and excellent rooms/apartments.
Can't recommend this hotel enough!

Very comfortable stay, friendly staff and the best sleep we have had in a month. The room was clean and we enjoyed the very large patios. If the falls weren't so enticing, we'd be tempted to never leave the resort.

We stayed here two nights. We were welcomed to the reception area with freshly squeezed orange juice and the staff we very hospitable. We originally wanted to dine one night at the hotel's restaurant and then one night in the city center. However, after tasting the Ojo de Bif (Ribeye) we came back a second night. The food was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We were supposed to stay here two nights. Unfortunately this became only one night because Aerolinas Argentinas decided only a short while before landing notto land in Iguazu but instead of this fly to BA. Only the next morning we had an early flight to Iguazu.
On arrival we were completely shattered because arriving at midnight in a hotel in BA and getting up at 3.45 to catch plane again meant no sleep. I did call the hotel late the evening before about the situation and they said no problem, tomorrow your transfer from the airport ($145 ow) will be there waiting for you. And they were, they also didn't charge us for the missed night, great service). The staff of the lodge was very helpfull, arranged for us to have a shower and planned our two days. Shortly after arrival we had a transfer to the brazilian side (no hassle with border controls, they arrange it for you) and a few hours later a pickup again ($380 rtn). The next day the same for the argentinean side ($250 rtn). The way the staff (especially Gabriella) handled the situation made us feel allready a lot better shortly after arrival. WIth the exeption of the girl that served breakfast all the staff of the resort were extremely helpfull.
The lodges are very spacious, with kitchen, living room balcony etc.
Dinner in the restaurant was good, enough wines to choose from.
Next day spent a few hours at the pool before our flight (good size pool). The reception has a safe where you can leave valuables after check out.
