positive:
+ mainly the many free things like DVD, books, pool, computers, tabletennis
+ nice big pool (but in winter no water)
+ round about 10 US-Dollars for a bed incl. WIFI and breakfast is nice
+ tour offers, cheaper taxi etc.
negative:
+ very cold in winter, no heating for the rooms, and humid...
+ rooms very basic, nothing to hang up your wet clothes (they tell you to use the laundry)
+ breakfast: cheap bread /rolls with butter/spread/bad cheese/marmelade, 2 flakes, choice of tea, hot coffee - thats very basic for a YHA
+ very far from the city center, buses come maybe every half hour

My stay here was good. They have everything you need. But it is hard to meet people, it is very individual, because it is too big. Besides, the service was not that good and the breakfast was bad. In addition, I had a massage for one hour. The massage itself was really good, but the room of the massage was very cold (so please ask before if they can heat it!)! But, the rooms and the bathroom were clean, they had a room where you could watch films (with dvd's available) and I loved sitting outside next to the swimming pool reading a book. So, I could come here again, but not as a single traveler, because it is too big, too individual and the staff is not great.

A very good hostel with a great pool. Rooms are standard but public places are great! Staff was very nice to us and prices at the bar are good. Breakfast was very good with a choice out of different kinds of bread, sweets, coffee and eggs as a extra (paid) option. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend it.

Easy to get there from the Airport and easy to get to the falls.

Great Pool and social areas with wifi just fine for social media but nothing great.

The staff are a mix, some are very uninterested and lazy others nice and accommodating.

The rooms are fairly clean, I stayed in an outside room so cannot comment on the rooms inside.

The sheets have holes and are dirty with the red dirt that is around the hostel. Someone else who was staying with me had her quite dirty sheets changed for better ones but they were still old and not clean. I do not understand why they cannot afford to get new sheets as the old ones tear and wear.

The external bathrooms are fine, but they are not serviced regurally. So if the TP runs out then you will have to ask for more.

There is a club next door and they like to pump the music, sometimes quite loud but generally the noise is not unbearable and quieter later in the night.

The specials are quite good at the bar and the kitchen is open late. If you are not getting the specials it is best to eat in town where a taxi will cost you 30-40 ( generally 40 from the hostel and 30 from the city). Look for dedicated taxi shops as it can be hard to flag one down.

There is only one bank / ATM in town so BRING CASH!

Finally the hostel has a policy of charging deposits when you arrive around 90 PES for a towel and room key so be prepared for that.

Other than the enjoy the falls!!

Check this video of the premises, it's from my last stay:

Also, Translation of my previous post:

Well run, low price compared to its amenities. Clean, comfortable for moving around, the bus takes 10 min more or less to get to the falls or the town centre, and theres a bus stop at hostel inn (public transport stops at the hostel, they even announce "hostel inn")
Staff is agreeable. There's a voleyball court, a net for playing water voleyball and a fooball court. You can also rent charters to the airport an everything in the front desk.

Some tips:
1) Dont pay for the "la gran aventura" package, go directly to the waterfall excursion, the "viaje por la selva" (trip through the jungle) is not worth it
2) You should visit the brazilian side first, if not, it wont impress you as much after seeing the argentinian one.
3)On the Arg side, if you are going to do the "macuco trail", leave it for last, its about 8 kilometers back and forth. BRING WATER
4) Buy 1,5 lts bottles of water at the hostel, they are cheaper than 0,5 lt inside the Iguazu falls park

Stayed here with my fiance for 2 nights in May in a private room. It was spacious and had a comfy bed and pillows. The shower was hot and the room secure. The walls are a bit thin and a bit of noise gets in, but nothing a pair of earplugs can´t block out. Breaky was pretty simple, cereal and fruit (which is all you need) and bread and coffee. They also have the option of paid extras like scrambled eggs with tomato which was pretty reasonablly priced too. There is a bistro of sorts there that seemed to be open all day and quite late so although it is a bit out of town, you can get food if you aren´t super fussy. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It´s easy to get a bus to the falls too, just flag one down from out the front. Same goes for one into town. I have seen a few not so good reviews but it was fine for what we wanted, which is a place to relax after a day at the falls.

Room Tip: if you´re travelling as a pair, its better to get the private, works out almost the same!

This is a perfect place to relax and unwind during your visit to The Falls. Pool was amazing, staff were helpful and friendly, good nights sleep and easy to meet fellow travellers. Only downside was the loud music during the day...but I may be getting toi old :-(
