“One of the seven wonders of the world (Brasilian side)”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

The falls are known all over the world. But no picture, no media can make it justice.
It is so incredible to walk in the jungle and suddenly see a powerful fall just in front of you, perfectly integrated in the jungle landscape... And I am just talking about the smallest ones. The main one is called "the devil's throat" and is such a monster that you can't believe what you are seeing and feeling.

I saw the Niagara falls some years ago, but for me there is not even any comparison possible. I would choose Iguazu falls many times over.

“Breathtaking! The most spectacular and beautiful falls I have ever seen.”
Reviewed January 3, 2014

Words can't adequately describe the magnificent spectacle of these falls and their jungle surrounds. Go to both the Brazilian and Argentina sides - I recommend going to the Brazilian side first for the best views of the expansive and massive falls. The jungle flora and fauna is also rich and beautiful with monkeys, coatis, toucans and many other animals and birds and beautiful orchids and other flowers, trees and ferns - so make sure you also make time for a hike through the jungle!

“Beautiful!”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

I'm glad I got to view the falls from both sides. The Foz do Iguacu takes about 1.45 minutes if that. It gives you a beautiful panoramic view but if I had to choose one side it would be the Argentinian side.

“Give it a miss”
Reviewed December 20, 2013

The hotel was a disaster, I can't even remember the name. Everything shuts on a Saturday. We found just one passable churrascaria. Not going there again if I can avoid it.
