We were there after out tour to the Argentinian side of the falls. After a close-up view there it allowed us to get the all-over scenery and we could identify places we had been the day before. Therefore it could make sense to organize the itinerary in this way but it is not mandatory at all. The path is organized in a one-way direction, partially with steep descents and not recommended for wheel-chairs or even strollers. At the very end an elevator is awaiting you (and hundreds of other tourists) bringing you back to the shuttle bus terminal, where another queue requires your patience. But everything works smoothly and professional. And directly at the bottom of the elevator you get your chance to become wet from the spray of one of the falls.

The falls on the Argentine side were fabulous and breathtaking and for the person with a spirit of adventure. . There was a lot of walking but the trails are well maintained. Some local wildlife to enjoy. We did the jungle adventure as well as the boat ride under the falls. It was a fabulous trip and I look forward to repeating this journey again before my bucket list is complete. A word of caution, if you do the boat trip, a) you will get very wet, lol and b) there are a lot of stairs to navigate getting to the boat and getting back after the boat trip. I have a bad knee and I will say this, it was so incredible, I didn't care about the stairs. Slow and steady makes it all worth while. Brazil was equally as beautiful but from a very different perspective. For me Brazils falls are for the eye of the artist.

You wouldn't be in Iguazu if you didn't want to go here... and you won't be disappointed. Argentinean side better than Brazil side though.

This was the highlight of my trip to Brazil and Argentina in Feb 2013. Always wanted to go there but surpassed expectations! Must see from both both brazilian and argentinian sides. Seeing the brazilian side in late afternoon was great - very quiet and atmospheric (apart from the huge tarantula!).
