Its awesome but engineered poorly because crowds are really big. The thing is, that the park was built with these silly narrow walkways so anyone with a cooler and stroller blocks the way. So it takes 10x longer to walk anywhere in the day. So, instead of waiting for the first train, take the small path called green path, it will save you am hour of just waiting for the train. Then make sure you get on the path ways just before a train unloads. That gives the previous crowd a chance to disperse and the new crowd not enough time to get in front of you!!

Staying on the Brazilian side we took a trip to the Argentinian side of the falls, and it was worth the trouble of crossing the border (not difficult, mostly time consuming). Most falls are on this side, and the park provides many trails that allow you to see them all from all sides. Especially the Devil's Throat is impressive. It is not necessary to take the train there, there is a very easy path and walking is a much quicker and more comfortable option that standing in line (for a minimum of 30 minutes) and then sitting in a cramped uncomfortable very slow train for another 20 minutes.
The park has good food too (and Argentinian wine). We thought this side was more exciting than the Brazilian side!

If staying in Argentina, it's really easy to take a taxi over to Brazil to see the falls from a different angle. If you are short on time it is possible to visit in 3 hours max.
EU citizens do not need a visa to cross between Brazil & Argentina.

This was a fantastic experience. We visited the falls from the Argentinian side and found the view points spectacular.
We did the Great Adventure tour - in that the Nautical Advneture and the Devil's Throat vista point were incredible. At the Natutical Adventure - one gets completely drenched so carrying a rain poncho can be really helpful.

The ecological boat ride was quite slow and boring (absolutely avoidable).
