We stayed 2 nights in February 2011, visiting Iguazu Falls after a cruise. The grounds are beautiful, and the hotel was clean and appeared well maintained. The food at the restaurant was very good, but there were a few quirky things that detracted from the experience. The waiters in the restaurant could hardly speak any English, which I considered odd for a tourist based hotel. I needed a 110 V adaptor for a needed electrical device, and they could not provide one for sale, rent, or were unable or unwilling to locate one at a nearby hotel.
I would be happy to stay there again if I was in the area, but I thought it very surprising that they were unable to "adapt" to US clients better than they did. I'd bring my own adaptor; I couldn't imagine a hotel NOT having this capability.
