The service that the staff showed was in complete disinterest to satisfy us. The check in was supposed to be at 1pm but it was not and their excuse was that they only had one housekeeper, not only that but also when we got to the room it was dirty (Sheets with stains, tub was dirty and with hair and fongus, floor with dust, dirty walls, horrible decoration...) we asked the front desk to clean it up but they never did.

We are so pissed off at this service and facilities that we are writing this review from the Hotel. This is no way a 4 star hotel, neither 1!!!

Hotel in Puerto iguazu. location is okay, about 20 min walk to the centre of puerto iguazu. Hotel is splitted into hotel and lodges. Photos look very nice and modern in reality it is old and not very well maintained. Lodges are generally okay, kitchen does not exist and is not very clean and you find a lot of insects in the lodges. In the night it is crazy loud from the near street, as the houses not isolated at all and people like to drive loud cars and bikes. Included breakfast is also very weak, bad bread, some ham and chees. Cornflakes milk and coffee, some dry cakes and fruits out of the bin. For about 110 USD a night no value, sorry.

Room Tip: amerian hotel, right next door

Very good place to stay. Good location. Good infrastructure. Excellent breakfast. Dinner was very good too. Swimming pool was very good too. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel has a good location, but you may not see Iguazu river. You may walk a couple of blocks to reach Three Borders (Tres Fronteras) where you may se the conjunction of rivers and the three countries: Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.

Nice hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Ours had a balcony with a nice view of the backyard. The staff is friendly and answered every question we had. Its like 15 minutes walking distance from downtown and it has a bus stop just in front of the hotel. There's also a taxi stop in front of it too. The bus is really cheap... like $10 pesos per person to Iguazu Falls, it takes like 20 minutes, but is cheaper than taking a cab ($80-$100 pesos pp). The only bad thing about this hotel is the breakfast. I mean, is buffet and you have coffee, fruit and bread, but the scramble eggs are horrible.... mushy and they smell funny.
Other than that, I think is a great place to spend 1 night or 2. Ohh..the sauna room is included :-)

Very nice hotel. Good service, but the food provided is not that good given it's a 4 star hotel. Breakfast is bland with stale bread. $90 pesos for a buffet would be great if the food was hot, not warm. French fries were fried not soggy uncooked, fishsticks? Really? Flan was not good, dulce de leche not good. Tried paying with a credit card and it wasn't accepted...

Generally Iguazu is a just a place to visit only the Cataratas and leave!! The majority of the hotels offer a poor service and charge a lot!! The city has nothing to see, and the restaurants are very expensive for the quality they offer. Prefer the restaurant in the hotel!
The rooms were not of a 4 star hotel. When we got to the hotel they put us in a dirty room, the walls as well the sheets had stains on. We complained at the reception and the put us to another which was at least cleaner, but not the room you expect from a 4 star hotel. The rooms need renovacion. At least the restaurant and the lobby were new and pleasant. The breakfast was rather good, but to tell you the truth i was expecting to eat some more fresh and exotic fruit, but the had the usual.

This was our second stay at the Esturion. Since I live here in Argentina, I wasn´t expecting a clean and nice hotel when I first came here. But I was surprised. The Esturion is a clean an well designed lodge, food is good and the rooms are nice. No big luxury, but cosy and comfortable.
