I stayed here with my boyfriend in April when the place hadn't been open very long. We took a gamble on trying a new place out - turned out to be the only people staying there but had a fabulous stay nonetheless. Lovely little spot, about 5 mins from the centre and bus station. Our double room was compact but clean and bright - nice clean bathroom too. The rooms are all layed out around a small pool in a pretty garden with plants for the hummingbirds to come and visit! The kitchen is a good size too and pretty well equipped - we cooked all our meals here during our stay. The owner and his partner were both so friendly and helpful - with lots of general info and advice of what to see in the local area. The morning we went to see the falls we left very early and the breakfast pastries hadn't yet been delivered to the hostel by the bakery (fresh every day!), so we left for the bus station without having breakfast, only for the owner to follow us all the way to the bus station with our DELICIOUS and HOT pastries after they had arrived! Great place, great service :)

This hostel has reopened with new owners about two months ago. The owners, 3 energetic and very friendly people, are bringing a great vibe to the place. Cheerful, friendly and homely.
Their advice on transport and activities at both sides of the Iguazu falls is detailed and helpful, as are suggestions regarding good places to eat, drink and buy groceries etc.

We stayed in a double with private bathroom. The rooms was simple but clean. There is a pool, a kitchen and a common area. Breakfast is better than most, with fresh medialunas, facturas and bread rolls.

The hostel is located on a quiet street, walking distance from the town centre.

Would definitely recommend!

I was looking for a place to stay at a competitive price, in a nice surrounding, out of the mainstream hostels and with welcoming people (this is not so easy to find nice people in hostels in Iguazu). I found everything I was looking for at Poramba Hostel. Ines and Gaston, the young couple who owns the place make you feel like home in their nice hostel. They rebuilt many things and want to do more. The rooms are clean and confortable, the kitchen is an ipen space near the swimming pool. They plan to make their hostel as sustainable as possible (they were on the process to install solar panels to warm the water when I left), and from what I know are so far the only ones to try to do a sustainable hostel in Iguazu. They really take care of the travellers who come to their hostels, will give you good advices and will surely share some maté with you if you are keen on trying this typical Argentinian drink. While talking about Poramba with other travellers who were staying in other hostels, some left their hostels to come to Poramba and none regreted it. I stayed 9 days there and had one of the best stay of all my trip in Argentina (3 months so far...). Thank you Ines and Gaston for the great time in Iguazu.

This was a really nice stay for me in Puerto Iguazu. The owners are lovely and the rooms are spacious and clean. Although the breakfast was basic, it was very fresh (delicious croissants and fresh bread) with jams/dd tea's, coffee and juice. The hostel itself is in a nice quite area within 10 minutes walk to centre and 7 minutes to the bus station. It had a nice relaxed atmosphere and I met really nice people here too. A number of people came here after having bad experiences at other places and stayed. It also has a pool but I didn't venture! It's just off Cordoba street also which has some nice restaurants and Pizza places! I would recommend this place for a nice stay in Puerto Iguazu!

All hostel owners should take example on Inez and her husband .  They want their guests to feel at home and will go out of their way to be helpful. When I asked for a recommendation for a doctor, they drove me to the doctor and then to the pharmacy!!
The hostel is situated on a quiet side street, surrounded by lush vegetations.  You almost feel in the country, yet your are 5 minutes from the bus station and from the centre of town. The rooms are simple but adequate with new bathrooms.  The lay-out makes it easy to meet the other guests and the caipirinhas are heavenly.  Highly recommended.
