“Fish and pork bondiola are good”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2014

La Dama Juana is a cool restaurant. We tried grilled dorado (fish from Iguazu river) with mashed cassava, grilled tomatoes and green oil and Pork bondiola with mashed sweet potatoes and green onion, m'beju and antique mustard. Both dishes were yummy. Grilled surubi (catfish from Iguazu river) with rice with almonds and vegetables, caper butter and lime juice looked delicious too. A liter beer bottle costs 40-60 pesos. I recommend to try dark Stella Artois or Quilmes stout, table wine is also fine.

“Great place for young people”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2014

If you're under 30, you'll find this a good choice for decent food at a reasonable price. The service is charming and unpretentious - genuinely warm. The steak was, to my taste, undistinguished; the potatoes cold and old. The greens were fresh and tasty. There are better choices for excellent cuisine and lovely atmosphere at prices not too much higher, but this place is particularly welcoming.

“Excellent bife de lomo”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2014

We randomly selected this restaurant and went for a lunch without reading any reviews. We're positively surprised: After 3 weeks (and many steaks) in Argentina, we ate definitely our best steaks here! Our Spanish is pretty poor and we got service also (partly) in English. Price quality relation was really good, probably the best we'd experienced in Argentina. Thanks for a great lunch!

“Excellent and very cheap steak”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2013

My first meal in Argentina, hoping for some good steak- this place certainly delivered. I went on a weeknight in the lowish season and they had a deal on meaning that my bife de chorizo (sirloin) cost about £7 at official exchange rates, a bargain for one of the best steaks I've ever eaten- fat, juicy and perfectly cooked medium-rare. Home made chips and chimichurri were both good too, as was the service. Highly recommended.
