A family run establishment just 2 blocks from where the bus station and restaurants are located in town.
The good: 1) Clean. Even though the hotel seems old and outdated, everything is kept very clean, even the floors. 2) Good location. The hotel is located just 2 blocks from the town's central bus station, which makes trips to the Iguazu falls very convenient. On the same street as the bus station, there are many good quality restaurants and ice cream shops.
The bad: 1) Outdated. The rooms, bathrooms, and furniture seem fairly outdated. If you're looking for modern amenities, you should probably look elsewhere. That being said, I have heard that other "4 and 5 start" hotels in Puerto Iguazu are also fairly outdated. 2) Can be loud at night. Even though the hotel is located off the main street, the walls are fairly thin and you can hear everything, from your neighbors to animals outside to cars passing by on the streets. 3) Spotty internet. Internet signal did not work in our room so we had to go to the lobby every time we wanted to get online. 4) No safe in rooms. If you're traveling with a lot of cash, its nice to have a safe in the room. The hotel seems fairly secure since the staff locks the lobby door past a certain time at night, but it would comforting to have a safe in the room.
Overall: clean, nice staff, and good for budget travelers, but don't expect modern amenities.

Room Tip: There are standard (450 AR pesos) and superior rooms (550 AR pesos) (prices reflective of the time we traveled; can change depending on season). Spend the extra 100 pesos and get the superior room, if available. The extra space is worth the money as the standard rooms are fairly cramped.

As the title says, the staff were amazingly helpful and the room was fine enough even if outdated but I get the feeling I could have probably got a better place if I'd searched a round a bit more and booked ahead.
Saying that, the couple of other places I walked into before coming here were asking for three times the price so...
The falls though are amazing so the hotel's really an irrelevent!

Lilian's is a quiet, clean hotel with a nice jungle setting located close to the bus station and restaurants. We thought the staff were excellent: attentive and available. They arranged our airport transfer and even offered us to stay in the room an extra hour after check out. The room was large with big windows and an outdoor porch facing the courtyard. Breakfast was very simple.

Room Tip: The upstairs deluxe rooms have a balcony. We found the mattress to be really bouncy, so it inhibited our sleep somewhat.

This is an hotel close to the bus terminal but in a silent area. The rooms are clean and have all you need for a short stay. Most of them have a balcony where you can sit and relax. Breakfast is basic (coffee/milk/tea and bread) but more than enough.

This hotel combines great location, clean and comfortable rooms and good and welcoming sevice. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night last december and enjoyed our stay.
The staff is really nice and helpful, the rooms are comfy and of-course air conditioned (AC is an absolute must in tropical weather). It is located really close to the bus terminal from which you take the bus to the falls and also near a 24/7 little supermarket which you will visit since eating in the national park is ridiculously expensive. There are also a few nearby restaurants.
very recommended:)
