I went for dinner with 3 friends and it was amazing! We ordered bite de chorizo and pasta and everything was delicious. The owner was very kind and honest about the quality of different dishes. The terrace is very cosy.

We checked out this restaurant late afternoon to see if it was open for dinner. The host, Alberto, invited us inside and offered us cold drinks which we really needed. He was so excited to meet with tourists from Australia and talk about our country - we had no Spanish, he had some English but somehow we were able to communicate ok.

We came back for dinner later. We sat in the garden area out back which was typical " Southern European village style". There was no menu so Alberto explained each dish, only limited choice. In effect we ate what was suggested. The food was very good, especially the tarting entre which we shared and the agnolotti pasta dish. The Tiramisu was the only dessert but it was superb. The beer was cold and wine by the glass was ok too.

Alberto was unique - very funny, keen to please. He explained some options for tourist activities other than the parks which was very useful.

Unfortunately there was only one other couple in the restaurant so business was quiet on a Monday night.
At the end of the night he called us a taxi. Overall it was an enjoyable night at a fair price.

Thank John H

I recently visited Argentina with my Travel buddy and he mentioned this restaurant.....we ate here twice in a four day period and I must say the food is just simply amazing ...but the host and his stafff were even more amazing..LOL ...Alberto is a character totally...he made you feel comfortable and you almost forgot that you are in a restaurant eating ....he greets you, take your orders and sociallize with his guest, he even went as far for us to pay for our cab when we first visited because we did not have enough change in Peso...The ambiance is very relaxing the food amazing and Alberto mmmm.....he is just amazing....he did challenge me on my language skills LOL ...He speakds fluent Italian, French and Spanish his English and Portugese a bit choppy...so imagine me a English speaker who dabbles in languages ...overall VISIT this restaurant ...it is GREAT.

Very folksy and original. Atmosphere feels like you are in someone's home. Although we did not get a menu and our order was not exactly what we THOUGHT we ordered, we still enjoyed the delicious food. We were treated like family and yes, Albert is quite the character. Good value for the money too!

When we arrived there was no one in the main restaurant and that concerned us but then we found that people were in the garden, which is a lovely setting.
Luckily we had someone to help us with Spanish as I think you would find it pretty challenging to eat here if you don't speak Spanish at all. The menu was very random based on what food was available, which when we visited was limited.

That said, all the food was delicious although we waited over an hour for our main course and one of the orders was forgotten entirely.

Getting the bill was a mission and we had to ask about 3 times (there was no hurry whilst staff had a cigarette) and we had to wait a good 20mins before finally walking out, which is when the bill appeared.

Great food but definitely not a great experience.

Dear Guest, thank you for your note as well for your time. The point of disagreement and irritation was due only to the delay of closing your table. Unfortunately had 7 tables in the same situation with card payment takes time. The most important thing is that you have eaten well and was a pleasure to host it and get our apologies involuntary by the dynamics of events. Very warmly greet Lili and Juan Alberto.
