When my family made the trip up to Iguazu Falls we stayed right around the corner from this little storefront. The bakery made fresh pasta , sauces, and empandas each day. There were a variety of empandas were made from meat, chicken, and fish. We ended up stopping by this little restaurant each day of the trip! The food was fresh and inexpensive - a perfect place for takeout. We saw many locals coming through to pick up groceries for their meals. The owner also has one small table inside the bakery where you can settle in for a dine-in meal. After speaking with the owner we discovered that he was a head culinary chef at five star restaurants around the world and has settled here to open up his own business. Finding an Italian gem in little town was surprising, but the food was great and inexpensive. I still have fond memories of this bakery.
