The hotel is located centrally, close to bars, restaurants, shops, and the bus terminal to both sides of the Falls (there is now a new, direct service to the Brazilian side of the Falls).
Our room was large, very simply furnished with tatty old furniture, a huge, extremely noisy fridge, and an old gas cooker (handy for making tea). There was a very small safe however, and Wifi worked in the room.
The shower flooded the good size bathroom every time as the shower screen was too small. The bathroom floor was dirty in places, and had not been cleaned properly when we left three days later. The pool was extremely dirty and uninviting, although I would have loved a swim after returning from the Falls, I wouldn't dare to enter that filthy pool.
Breakfast was the worst we had in 4 weeks in Argentina/Uruguay : watery orange juice,ok coffee, white bread for toasting, and stale croissants.
Staff was not unpleasant, but not helpful either. We requested to check out just 30 minutes late at 1030 rather than 10,which would have enabled us to pack after breakfast, but although the hotel was barely half full, this modest request was denied.
I certainly would not recommend this place, we only stayed there because unfortunately we left it a bit late to make a hotel booking in Pto. Iguazu
