The owner of The Secret Garden booked this restaurant for us and we were pleasantly surprised at the level of service and quality of food and wine. The atmosphere is slightly loud due to the size and acoustics of the room but it only added to the enjoyment of our experience.

Average sort of food but one of the better restaurants in town - full; really full; three sittings per evening of locals and tourists. Good meat; range of local fish; good wine list; some home-made pasta. Noisy, buzzy. Good waiters.

We went to Aqva for dinner after going to the Jardin de los Picoflores (Hummingbird Garden).
We wanted local river fish and an Argentinian wine that we could not get in the USA. We had a wonderful meal. We had grilled Pacu and Suribe with grilled vegetables and rice. The wine we ordered was a Don David Torrontes. The service was excellent too- we got the small after dinner drink and the professional photo of the falls. It was a gem in unexpected location.

Some of the dishes are great, others are very good. The server was a bit cold; seemed like the last thing he wanted to do was be at work. Nonetheless we may come back again during our short visit. A reservation may be necessary if you're coming in at prime time (9 to 10).
