Maybe I was expecting much of a parillada, but my experience there was not that good. We had a chorizo steak, a veal and some pasta. We've waited very long to ask and be served and food was not that good. We've found prices a bit expensive and exchange rate an extortion. By knowing other places in Iguazu I'd say it's a good option but it's far from getting a 5 star.

We´ve got there to have lunch with some work partners and there I realized that it was a barbecue. They have service, and they are really resourceful, polite and welcoming. But sometimes you get the sensation that they are more interested in their tips than serving you. I know it would be really picky to say so, but as I understand it, they were all over you, smiling and aproaching you so much, that it was almost anoying.
I wouldn´t return, but it´s not a bad place. I just don´t like the atmosphere.

“More tourist attraction than best argentinian parillada”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2014

We have been one time, first day after New Year night. As one local citizen has recommended to us we took a table at 7 PM. It was good choice, because at 8 all restaurant was full of visitors. A lot of group with a long table and reservation. Our waiter made his job well but without usual stile of mutual communication. Parillada was good, vine from Patagonia is a pleasant discovery, but very noisy and ambience could be better for so famous place.

The chorizo I ordered was way better than I expected. Never have I eaten anything so good! The place is beautiful and clean, the music and food are great, and the staff is always smiling - everybody is very helpful!

“Top Steak At The Iguazu Falls”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2014

A chance conversation with a taxi driver led us to having dinner at El Quincho, he assured us that it was the best place in Iguazu for a steak and he was probably right. The staff were really great, the restaurant is a new build on the side of a road, so don't expect views or anything spectacular, but the staff and food was excellent.

We had a lovely old chap serving us very attentively, our starters were delicious, then the main event the steak arrived. Boom town, cooked perfectly, great potato croquets, tasty salads and some delicious chimi churri (not sure how to spell it).

Good wines, good food, good company and a great looking parilla stacked with tasty meat.
