“For the Argentinean parrilla (barbecue) it is the best option in town”
Reviewed November 2, 2012

If you like meat welcome to Argentina and to "Tio Querido". The traditional "bife de chorizo" is highly recommended and well as the offals as appetizers (sorry but I do love beef kindneys and sweetbread - mollejas they call it locally). A nice Malbec such as Escorihuela Gascon will help to enjoy the food, the place and life.
Just a little bit noisy as restaurants that are frequented by tourists some of whom visit places not to see but to be heard.

“Don't bother making a reservation”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

Our hotel made a reservation for us at 8:30pm. We arrived and found a line of people waiting, which we assumed were walk-ins. After 5 minutes we found a doorman and told him we had a booking. He said we'd have to wait 10 minutes for a table.

We waited for 45 minutes whilst other guests who arrived after us were giving tables immediately. Preference seemed to be given to people who were fluent in Spanish. 1 hour after our booking time we decided to leave and go somewhere else.

“Great dinner”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

A good place to eat, very busy but some wait is worthwhile. A lot of choice, I ate parrillada with potatoes, helpings are average (for argentinian standards) and price is above average (but Puerto Iguazu is above average at all)

“a Must-go in Argentina”
Reviewed September 12, 2012

The restaurant was close to my Hotel and had a live show with an excelent singer and a mesmerizing guitarrist.
The food was super, on the menu they suggest which wine goes well with which plate ( pairing) and outr baby beef tasted even better with the Malbec .
Also, try local dishes for dessert.

“Really good”
Reviewed August 25, 2012 via mobile

This restaurant happened to be our best eating experience in Foz/Puerto Iguazu. The grilled 'chorizo' was awesome. They have a full choice of good Argentinian wines at decent prices. In fact the whole menu has decent prices. The food was great (we ordered pasta and fries as well). The restaurant is located on the main access to the town after crossing the brazil/argentina border. The facilitues are quite new and clean. The service was friendly and efficient. Overall it was a great experience I strongly recommend.
