The Termas in Colon are an excellent way to spend an afternoon while in North-Eastern Argentina. The facilities around the hot springs were modern and well-maintained and it is easy to spend a lot of time just moving from pool to pool experiencing the different temperatures that come from water underground.
We would recommend going in the morning as it is less busy and you pay for a permit for the whole day so you are able to maximize it better if you decide to go back in the evening.
