The Los Laureles Lodge is a hunting lodge located in Entre Rios, Argentina. We booked our stay based upon a personal recommendation from an individual who had stayed there. We were a group of five individuals and stayed for four days of hunting. There are so many positive things to say about this lodge that I hardly know where to begin. The lodge accommodations were 5 star +. The lodge is just beautiful with large modern rooms with shower and separate jacuzzi tubs. Waxed tile and mahogany floors were just beautiful. There is a large living room with a large fireplace and overstuffed leather sofas and tapestries on the walls...a very elegant touch. The resident chef, Rosemary, prepares fabulous meals
served with excellent wines. If your not careful your pants will be a snug fit by the end of your stay. Even more impressive than the lodge and the food is the staff. This place runs like a fine tuned formula one racing team. The organization and backup is just amazing. What is so impressive is what you don't see. Everything just seamlessly flows together. The lodge manager, Aldo, whose reply when asked a question begins with a movie star smile and
quickly ends...NO PROBLEM! is a driving force that sets Los Laureles in a class all by itself. We came back early from fishing, as winter is the slow season because the water is so cold--around 5:00 PM. We asked the staff if it would be possible to shoot some more doves. He said, no problem..10 minutes ok.? Ten minutes later we pulled up to a totally new location, with a new blind built and there were our individual bird boys, our shotguns and our ammunition waiting for us. Two of the other guys were still out fishing. My analogy to a F1 organization is spot on. We were just amazed by the flawless detail of the place. There are several luxury operations in Argentina but none can match the overall hunting and fishing experience of Los Laureles. The dove fields were five minutes from the lodge. The duck hunting superb with new fiberglass pangas and an air boat on site. Perdiz hunting, behind dogs was amazing..five minutes from the lodge. Pigeons were fun as well. The longest from the lodge..about an hour in new SUV's. We visited during winter at the end of July to take advantage of hunting everything. The weather was perfect!! No humidity and cool in the low 60's F..17C. This is a great time to go! If you are looking for the hunting experience of a lifetime, you'll find it at Los Laureles!!!
