We stayed here for three nights. It was a pleasant stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We walked every day along the riverwalk. It is a beautiful walk with lots of fun vendors and food. We did not have probles with the internet. We also enjoyed the pool.

Both the hotel website and other third-party websites boast that this hotel is "5 stars." It's far from it. From the time of check-in to the last breakfast, everything seemed to be a big disappointment. A month before arriving, I made my reseration and specifically asked for an early checkin since my overnight bus from Buenos Aires would arrive at 8 am in Corrientes. When I got to the hotel, the clerk told me I couldn't check in until 2 pm. The lobby was empty and they probably had less than 1/2 of the rooms occupied. Finally, he said if I come back at 9, a room would be ready. I sat in the lobby for an hour and at 9 he told me the room was ready but there was a 400 peso charge for the early checkin. Nowhere on their website did they mrention this. I refused and told the clerk I needed to work so they unlocked a small business center that had loud lobby music blaring in it for me to work in until the normal check in time.

Later that day at the pool, I asked one of the employees (who was standing around with 3 other employees doing nothing) if he would take a picture of me and I felt like I was asking him to move a mountain.

Breakfasts were unpredictable. The first morning, the eggs and croissants were excellent and the next 2 mornings it was if the hotel were closing down. Half of the food was not there, I had to ask several times for eggs (which had to be specially prepared and were not even close to as good as the ones the first day) and the croissants were obviously from the day before.

While the staff (front desk) were professional, they were cold and standoffish. The saving grace was the hotel general manager. When I told her about my checkin situation, she was very kind and understanding, doing her best to admit things could have been handled better.

The pros: Nice outdoor pool, clean, big modern rooms (a/c was great) and the location (right on the riverside and next to a large casino). It has the facilities in place to make it a four star hotel but really needs to work on training employees better first.

Room Tip: I stayed in a city view room on the 8th floor. Rooms have double glazed glass so there was no outsi...

The hotel is situated in the best area of the city, just across the street is the "riverwalk" with the magnificent Parana river right there (safty and charming area)! The hotel's facilities are pretty good, but it actually doesn't deserve 5 stars because of the service. They took more than thirty minutes to check in and check out while no other guess was at the front desk (bad begining and slow ending). Then you have to ask for a towel for the pool at the front desk too, and you have to give it back there (awkward indeed). Room service for breakfast was fast but I ordered a bread basket and they brought me nothing else but the bread (no jam, no butter, no cream chese or whatever), that was really annoying and disappointing, and last they charged me twice some drinks that I had at the lobby bar, but latter recognized the mistake. So they really have to do major improvements in terms of service if they really want to be considered as a 5 stars hotel, besides the price you pay for the night.
In the other hand the room was almost spotless, spacious, excellent decoration, good minibar, comfy beds and big modern bathroom (there was a problem with hot water in the shower, I had to wait more than ten minutes to get some warm water). There is a lovely swiming pool with a cascade and a nice solarium area.
This is a property to have in mind when you visit Corrientes city, because of its location and instalations, but don't expect much from a perfect attention.

The hotel was very nice, the swimming pool are charming, rooms comfortable (bathrooms the size of another room!) and breakfast good. The only thing missing was a working internet connection. It was down most of the time or running really low. I think that is a must for a place like this. But overall was good.

First of all the good points are that the hotel is very nice with an excellent lobby area with lots of comfortable sofas. A good outdoor swimming pool though not really deep enough to allow you to swim properly. The rooms were also very nice with good quality furnishings a nice bathroom and good air-conditioning. Overall the value for money is very good with both the rooms and drinks at very reasonable prices. On the downside sound proofing in the rooms was poor so you could very easily here your neighbours. In addition it was always a very long wait for somebody to turn up at the bar or pool to serve drinks. In addition the front desk failed to take our reservation even after ringing to re-confirm. Luckily the hotel wasn't crowded so this time it wasn't an issue.
Therefore overall the hotel was a lot of potential but it does need to pay more attention to the customer.
