We had an excellent meal in Azafran. The beef tenderloin with caamelized onions, sweet potato puree and chimichuri sauce was perfectly balanced with Kaiken Ultra Malbec 2010, recomeded by the very knowleadgable somelier. For people who like meat dishes it was a perfect match. My wife had pasta shells stuffed with smoked eggplant and baked in cream sauce, which was very good too. A restaurant with very charming ambience we would always love to go to again, and the tenderloin- Malbec combination that I had was one of those food-wine matches made in heaven.
