“Unforgettable”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

We ate here on 3 different occasions. Once for tapas, and twice for dinner. The restaurant is beautiful. The candlelit garden is filled with bogenvalia and moon flowers and is unbelievably romantic. The wine list is stellar and the creative French-influenced menu made deciding really tough. The waitstaff is well accustomed to dealing with tourists and were gracious about dealing with our broken Spanish, or were able to kindly help out in English. The carpaccio, the cesar salad, and anything off the dessert menu are my recommendations. Perfect.

“Great lunch in Mendoza”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

We dropped through here after a morning in the Vineyards. It is a little bit of a walk from the centre, away from all of the other touristy restaurants. Plenty of locals, and plenty of creative dishes (in big portions) for a good price.

“Really quaint but remains hip”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

The setting is definitely the superstar of this uber-cute indoor-outdoor space. Four of us came for dinner and were seated outside in the back, where the smells of local flowering plants greeted us as we enjoyed our fine selection of Mendozan and Argentinian wines. We ordered several steak and pasta dishes between us, and were happy and a bit tipsy as we departed, feeling a bit like we had visited a friend's family in the country.

“Lovely space, boring food.”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

My wife and I travel for three reasons, architecture, heat ( Canadian winters ) and food. So we had high hopes for this recommended restaurant. The space is indeed lovely however that couldn't overshadow the boring, tasteless food. We started with the gazpacho which lacked ANY flavour. Followed up the bland with the mediocre, salmon ceviche. There must have been a sale on onions because the dish consisted mainly of that with salmon as a distant second and citrus a barely noticed third. Service was good and the one choice for wine by the glass was amply filled.
Spend your money elsewhere.
