It's a lovely park, but if you're trying to find it using the interactive map to the right on your trip advisor page, you won't find it there under the little orange star. It's in a completely different neighbourhood. You'll find it west of Av General San Martin and North of Av Pedro Molina Norte, a couple of blocks west of the junction of Highway 7 and Ruta 40. Hope that helps. If you're looking for an authentic neighbourhood experience, by all means, go to the highlighted star on the map.

This is one of the nicest main squares we have ever seen in Mendoza.Wonderful place to wander and sit. Interesting spanish style. Don’t miss it.

This is one of the most colourful, pleasant squares I've been to. It's fairly small and not really a main draw for locals (go to Independencia for that) but definitely worth checking out.

Around the main square of Independencia are 4 plazas of which one is Plaza Espana. It is very pretty with centre piece fountains and monument dedicated to the Spanish discovery of the areas. There are wide paths to stroll through and when in need of a rest make use of the benches - all tiled in beautiful mosaic patterns. The tiles and mosaics theme runs throughout the park and it makes for an interesting relaxing setting
