Lovely amenities with tasty breakfast, wonderful friendly hotel staff eager to assist and fabulous night markets at the Plaza Independencia across the road. I felt safe travelling on my own & enjoyed my time immensely in Mendoza. Make sure you try the Lemon sorbet with Dulce de Leche ice cream at Famigla Perin. Heaven!

The very pleasant and clean hotel is situated on Mendoza's main square, making everything accessible. They have a restaurant overlooking the square with a good but limited menu, the pork with a sauce for me being the highlight. Good wine list also. The small swimming pool is a welcome retreat from the afternoon heat. Trips can be booked from reception. Reception staff, especially Pablo deserve a mention.

I stayed at the Argentino hotel for 3 nights. I was traveling solo so I wanted to be in a safe place with lots of restaurants near by and so it was. The place was clean and decor very pleasant. The bed was comfortable, the air-conditioning worked well and so did the wifi. Breakfast was nice, buffet style with actual fruits, fruit salad, melons and watermelon. Lots of carb choices from cereals to breads and cakes, some cheese and ham as well. It's well worth the 1017 pesos I paid. Remember if you're not from Argentina they decrease the hotel fee by 21℅ this is a newer law passed to encourage tourism. So make sure you don't book on hotel.com which is charging the 21% tax. Book directly or via booking.com which doesn't seem to charge the tax fee. There is a restaurant, bar, and pool on site. The staff was very helpful and made my stay easier. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, especially us Americans who are use to certain standards and I would stay here if I ever returned to Mendoza.

An economic option with an incredible location right on the main plaza and very helpful staff, this hotel is super convenient to the airport on your way to and from visiting vineyards or anything else Mendoza has to offer. The room is not impressive - very basic and reflects the price I paid compared to the luxury hotels located nearby. If you want a place to get a good night's sleep and don't need the luxuries of an expensive hotel, this is an excellent option. The staff were very helpful in all of our requests and provided excellent advice for dining nearby and coordinating transportation.

If you go to Argentina, you should go to Mendoza, a lively, welcoming city with the Andes toweringly visible in the distance.. You should stay in the Hotel Argentino - not the mos texpensive hotel but in a fabulous location opposite the Plaza Independencia. Here, you can listen to great music, enjoy the trees and fountains and visit the classy artisan market every evening.
The guys on reception are incredibly helpful and friendly, as well as speaking excellent English, and the restaurant serves food all day. The menu has enough variety for most tastes and the staff there are charming. There are plenty of places to eat in the immediate vicinity if you want a change.
The hotel has a pleasant little pool and terrace where you can relax, there are computers with a word package in the lobby and the WiFi functions well in the rooms. Everywhere is immaculately clean I was there for 2 weeks on business and would be happy to go again on holiday. One of the most pleasant hotels I've ever stayed in.

Room tip: Try to find one with good air-conditioning if there in hot weather.
