“Culinary Delight”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

Pablo and Alejandro crafted a memorable evening of food, wine, and conversation. The setting was comfortable and intimate, and they made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. Every aspect of the evening was engaging, from the wide ranging conversation with the hosts and the other guests, to the creative and beautifully presented food, to the widely varied and carefully paired wines. Each of the courses incorporated regional ingredients, but prepared in ways that demonstrated Pablo's international vision and eclectic expression. The presentation was creative and beautiful, and his passion as he described his inspiration for each dish. Each of the wines was exquisite and carefully selected to pair with its course. It was an extraordinary evening, and we would recommend it to anyone interested in a delightful culinary adventure.

“An oasis of pleasure!”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

Pablo and Alejandro professionally hosted an awesome evening where I felt I was having dinner with close friends I had known al my life... only I ate like the gods. I did not notice how many hours passed (nor how many different bottles of wine!) along with the super savory food they had carefully prepared and paired with excellent wines: from the reception with a creative, yummy cocktail to the fine petit fours with coffee or selected tea, going through each original course yet especially surprising my senses with the main course of Tuna I enjoyed so much. Really, really good quality service coming from experts in a relaxed ambience. A must!!

“Lovely Pirca”
Reviewed July 26, 2013

First of all, we have to thank Pablo and Alejandro for doing an excelente job! they made us feel at home. Pirca is an excelent option for those who want to try and experience the best when they are on vacactions. We shared an excelente evening with people from different places which we found it to be interesting because we got the chance to "travel" without moving from our chair. The food was absolutely wonderful, the presentation and Pablo´s way of pairing food and wine was outstanding.
We loved the Pirca experience!!

“Not to be missed!”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

Last week I signed up for Pirca closed door restaurant and I must say it was one the nicest meals and experiences I have ever had. We enjoyed an 7 course (!) meal paired with 7 different wines and a little Grappa at the end. Pablo, the chef is also a Sommelier, which is what made the experience so interesting. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the menu and wine pairings. Pablo makes a point of not showering you with Malbec (great though it is) and instead tries to show unusual wines that you may not come across by yourself. For one of our courses we were served two Pinots from different regions in Argentina, it was great to be able to tell the difference and try something new.
The food was exquisite and original, from little fried olives hanging on a miniature olive tree to, pan seared duck and Ahi tuna. It is not a ‘traditional’ Argentine menu of beef and empanadas, but I think that is what makes it great.
The setting and atmosphere was beautiful, much like other closed door restaurant the fun is in meeting different people and sharing a table with other like-minded travelers and locals. You can tell Alejandro, our host, who is also an architect has put a lot of thought into the decoration and making sure everything worked seamlessly. You felt completely at home.
