The guide was very competent and prepared. We got to taste four premium wines. I bought two bottles of red and got two bottles of brut thrown in (and didn't have to pay for the tour), very good deal.
The surrounding area is not the best looking, but the winery itself has premises.

Being from Montreal Canada, this is not the first winery that would come to mind when choosing to visit one in Mendoza… Let's just say that what we get from Trapiche comes from the bottom of the barrel! This said, we were amazed at the quality of their high end wines. Our hostess apologized for the quality of what is sent to Quebec and told us that what we get does not go to barrel, straight to bottle from stainless steel fermentation tanks! So, do go if you are Canadian… You'll not only have a first class wine tour, you'll enjoy tasting truly spectacular wines of the region from one of the oldest wineries. The restored buildings are outstanding as well. We even managed lunch in front of the vineyards before driving off! Hope this review was helpful!

While I was more interested in drinking wine than learning about the history, I found the tour interesting nonetheless. The wine was tasty and the tour guide had a fun demeanor. The view from the tasting room of the olive trees and animals was pretty cool also.

The tour was super informational, the bodega was beautiful. It was very personal, and the tasting was relaxing and great. We tried 3 different wines, and were given generous tastings (at least 4 glasses) It was beautiful and worthwhile. Just know that the last tour is at about 3pm and it closes at 4!

I was there last week and the guide who lead the tour was fantastic. The landscape is beautiful, the winery is perfect, showing that restoration was done carefully and with passion. We tasted four different wines and testing room is really nice with a perfect view inside and outside.
They show deep care and respect for nature and wine production.
They also have very good promotions for taking some wine home with you. Don't miss it!!!
