I stayed in Hostel Mora for 5 days. I enjoyed my stay here. Breakfast was good for the hostel standards. Staff was always helpful but you need to ask the right questions to get the right answers. Generally they are not fully informative about Mendoza. The cleanliness of the room was excellent. Some rooms are a bit too dark. In general it is not a party hostel and well-run, good hostel with pretty garden !

Mora Hostel is a really relaxing place to be! The people there are so nice and are doing their best.
They are really helpful! The rooms are nice, but some privates are to small - with 2 bunkbeds in a small room - so look for your choice! Kitchen, patio and garden are really clean and nice!

Room Tip: The privates in the pation / garden are really nice, but the one at ground level is too small!

My wife and I rented a private room, which was situated on a second floor with a view of the courtyard from the door and a view of residential Mendoza from the window. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and of the hostel in general. Although our room didn't have a bathroom, it was air-contritioned and very comfortable. In our opinion the best aspects of the hostel were the staff, who were all superbly helpful, and the LEDGENDARY breakfasts (e.g. crepes, omelettes, honey glazed croissants, jam-filled pastries, coffee, mate, etc.). The location was also quite good as Hostel Mora is easy walking distance to the bus station, many shops, and parks.

Room Tip: Double room upstairs had decent views, but was a bit loud if people are hanging out Kate in the courtyard.

We stayed at Hostel Mora for 3 nights. It wasn't as good as we were expecting. We got the private room with a shared bathroom (supposedly with one other double room). However, many of the residents were using the bathroom, and there was nothing to suggest they couldn't - no sign or anything. Room was TINY and beds and pillows uncomfortable. Wouldn't stay there again. Staff were quite friendly - the females. Male staff were not very informative.

The location of the hotel is good, just between the city center and the bus station (a short walking distance). The premises are behind a steel gate that is opended only for guests, so the facilities feel very safe. The garden is comfy and the breakfast is quite good for a hostel, including also some pancakes.

However, the room itself was like prison cell, small and Spartan. Wifi connection wasn't working properly in the room (in the garden it worked ok) and it was lacking air condition as well. Toilets were clean, but one of the floor drains was plugged in one of the showers.

Later on I noticed that the hostel advertises free wine tastings and free glass of wine every night on their website. However, they only told us about expensive wine tours around the city and not a single word about free wine...
