We went to this place recommended by the hotel but the food wasn't what we expected, pulpo a la gallega that wasn't really a pulpo a la hallega but a local invention, the 'conejo' was tasteless, one thing for sureis the good service we received, once again, terrible coffee like everywhere we went in Mendoza, they don't have a clue on how to make an expresso!

This restaurant serves traditional Spanish cuisine. It was a nice change from the traditional food served at restaurants in Mendoza. It definitely has an old world feel.

This is a small place centrally located with friendly, attentive service and good food at a reasonable price. It has a nice, warm atmosphere and authentic Spanish food.

One of our more disappointing meals in Argentina. Things start hopefully, with a glass of manzanilla sherry (lacking much flavor) and white beans in vinegarette. Starved after an early morning flight, we'd have welcomed anythng.

The hearts of palm appetizer sported 5 thin palms placed on a white plate, with a dab of "golf" sauce (think tame Thousand Island dressing) that looked like it had been squeezed out of a packet. The jamon Serrano was dry and served heaped on a plate with no garnish.

Galician octopus looked the part - reddened with paprika - but was flavorless. We ate less than half. Arroz a la Valenciana showed up as a dish of rice with some bony greasy chicken, frozen peas, and a few peppers alongside the rice.

Presentations were unappealing. The waitress was a forgetful bimbo who didn't bring water until asked twice, and who took 20 minutes to bring the bill. The bill? AR 290 - a real ripoff. At least we should be hungry for tonight's dinner at Azafran.

I'd choose McDonald's or any corner cafe over this overpriced place. I've always counted on Spanish restaurants to deliver good meals, but this place was a real disappoinment.

This is an old style Mendoza resturant, worth a visit but don't expect gourmet---good food though specializes in seafood
