I stayed with my wife and 2 years old child in the Windsor Hotel in Cordoba and liked a lot the location and the quality of the installations - the rooms are completely renovated and were roomy enough for us, our luggage and the crib for our daughter, what satisfied us a lot (beds were fantastic!). The breakfast offered was also very good. The common areas in general do not look so new as the rooms, but we did not consider this an issue. They have a small pool and sauna in the upper floor that we did not have the opportunity to use. There is a bar and a restaurant offering good dishes that we used to have dinner twice. The price is a little bit in the upper range, what might become an issue for budget travelers. Also related to the price, in two occasions I expected a bit more from the employees in general for a hotel entitled 4 stars: first time there we arrived at 3:00 am and, even though our reservation had a clear request for a crib, this was not ready and our daughter had to sleep the first night with us on the bed as it was said that nothing could be done for us at that moment. In a second stay there in the same trip (Cordoba was our initial and final destination in Argentina this case), due to our logistics there, we arrived a bit earlier than the official check-in time (11:30 am, while official check-in would be 02:00 pm) – in this moment, we were said that we could wait for a while as the room was being prepared for us at that moment. The problem is that this while took almost 2 hours (room was ready at 01:30 pm) – it might have been better to be said that the room would not be available earlier than official check-in time than to let us waiting there in this case. In any case, except for these two small issues, we were satisfied with the service in general.

Stayed here for three nights after travelling from Mendoza, the staff were all really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The only negative is that the rooms are a bit dated, however the wonderful rooftop pool and terrace more than made up for the rooms, having said that the bed was comfy and the shower was powerful. Breakfast was excellent with lots to eat and various options to choose from. The location of the hotel is good and is near restaurants and bars. I would recommend the mandarin restaurant as we went twice! I would stay at this hotel again.

We, my wife and me, decided to stay at a decent hotel and to hell with the price at the end of our 3 week trip to Argentina. We stopped at reception without having a booking and they were booked out. However, with a bit of juggling around they were able to take us for the 3 nights but we would have to change rooms each night. That was no problem as they moved our luggage while we were out. The room on the first night and the 3rd night was at the front of the hotel and was a fabulous room with a view of the square opposite. The noise from the street was not too bad and the bed was one of the best I have slept on. However, the room on the 2nd night was in the middle of the hotel and looked out on an air-conditioning room and a blank wall. It had a separate room with a table and chairs that I imagine a businessman could interview people in. Beggars can't be choosers, The room itself was fine, it was just the location.
The staff were excellent and very professional and helpful. Someone on reception always spoke English and they always smiled. Very important. The restaurant was first class and the breakfast in the morning was more than adequate with plenty of sweet rolls, orange juice, toast, cereals, and coffee. After having stayed in every type of accommodation in Argentina from a €12 a-night hostel (Palenque, cheap and cheerful) to the Sheraton Hotel (a total ripoff), the Windsor was absolutely brilliant. I would recommend it highly.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front are great, Just don't get a room in the middle.

The bell boys helped us dragging the luggage from the taxi in the middle of the very busy street. Room was ready on the 5th floor with a nice view of the square. The bed was excellent. Bath room as well and good size. Sound proof.
Breakfast was good with a nice buffet and a nice chill out space with swimming pool on the roof. Big gym. We had dinner in their restaurant and it was excellent. Nice and extensive wine list and food very good. Staff was very helpfull and attentive. One point of critism, the welcome drink......you get a voucher upon check in, ordered two red wine and get the smallest serving ever !!! so please either make it a real welcome drink or forget this service.
Overall I would strongly recommend this place we were sad to get up at 4 am to catch our flight and leave the comfortable bed.......

Great location only 2 blocks from pedestrian area. A very helpful staff and a superb restaurant.
Breakfast was less than average for a European who do not have sweet cakes for breakfast.
Room was big, but not very exiting and the soundproofing was terrible. Ask for a room away from Buenos Aires str. and high up.
WiFi worked OK and there is a "buisnesscenter" (=2 PC) in the lobby, but they were constantly occupied.
A great rooftop swimmingpool and trainingcenter.

Room Tip: A high up as possible and definetely away from Buenos Aires str.

The Windsor couldn't be better located - right in the very middle on Mendoza where most, if not all, of this capital's attractions are.
The check-in was fast and the staff, as during all the stay, very helpful - especially on suggesting places to visit and dine - top notch!
The hotel has THE best hotel gym I have ever seen before - they even have a personal trainer at your disposal! The outside swimming pool in the roof is also excellent!
The breakfast (variety and staff) were both excellent.
Now the issues.
1st - I had requested to have a very silent room - at first they put me next to the elevator right in front of the breakfast room - how thoughtful is that?
2nd - The first day was an unexpected warm day for that part of the year - so the room as quiet warm. I called front desk and they sent a boy to help me with the A/C controls. He told me that he agreed was hot, but there wasn't anything he could do about it, since the ventilation was central and they had to wait for the next day for maintenance to turn on the A/C!!?? At a hotel like that one would expect to have the power to manage his/her own temperature!
3rd - At check-in they will give you a voucher for a Welcome Drink - the voucher comes with the picture of a nice Martini. Ok, we sat and asked for 2 Martinis and were told that the voucher only allowed for white wine, soda or WATER - how frustrating is that? and of course embarrassing, since we stood up and walked away.
I hope management can fix this issues as the potential is huge for this to become a perfect hotel.

Very nice checkin. Helpfull staff. Nice breakfast. Expensive lunch. Very clean. Slowest elevators on earth. Twin beds? Really? If I had to spend more than sleeping hours in my room, I would have gone mad. nondescript at best with a view of nothing. Stay here but definitely ask for a queen/king bed
