Before we arrived here we knew what to expect from reading other reviews on this site. It's a budget option in Cordoba so you can't expect 5 star accommodation. Our double room was very small and hot and although we were provided with a fan there wasn't much space to use it! The living area is more spacious and pleasant for relaxing / using the Internet. The wifi is decent and location is great. The highlight here is the staff - very friendly and helpful. The hostel is very social so can be noisy at night but we had no trouble sleeping with earplugs!
Overall we probably wouldn't return as we'd like somewhere a little bigger and with air-con. Still the hostel is exactly as advertised and as described in the reviews here.

Owned by two Colombian brothers, financing their way through university, this place has a great, youthful, atmosphere. Full of information, these guys go the extra mile to please and make your visit awesome! Evenings are often spent around the grill, with a guitar and red wine, before venturing out into the wild Cordoba nightlife.
The only place I would ever consider stopping if I was on a budget in Cordoba. We (3 guys) spent 4 nights and they even have parking for a few motorcycles.

Room Tip: It fills up fast, so make sure to book ahead during weekends and summer season.

We stayed here for 4 nights over the weekend and really enjoyed it. Its in neuva Cordoba the student area. The hostel is small and friendly and the staff make the place. We did the horse riding for a day which was great and included a delish bbq. Walking tour is also great - the guide speaks perfect English and know ALOT. Altogether a great hostel!!

Room Tip: Not that much more expensive to get a private twin room if u want your own space

This place is well organised & very welcoming. The staff are young & friendly & very helpful re local advice, transport links etc. They had a bbq one evening then we were invited to a party in town at the apartment of one of the staff's boyfriend.

Couldn't ask for more!

& no prob with me being WAY older than the average guest or staff member !

Room Tip: I had a private room share bath - comfortable double bed :-)

It's a party hostel. If you're a seasoned backpacker, you know what that means.

PROS: It's the kind of place where you do things with the other guests, and with the owners. It's all one big crowd here. Great group dinners at the hostel, drinking and cards on the patio at night, and even going bar-hopping with the owners after hours.

CONS: The same as above, really. It's noisy. The emphasis is on fun, not comfort. The beds sag, and it's not the cleanest or most spacious place. (My boyfriend got impetigo from the sheets.)

BOTTOM LINE: Still one of the more memorable places we stayed in Argentina, for both good and bad reasons. You should stay here if you've got plenty of energy and are looking to socialize.

Tango hostel has the most fabulous and helpful staff ever, especially Javier makes you feel like home.
The hostel itself is very clean and well kept.
We stayed in the private double bed room, which is a bit small, but nice and comfortable.
Being older folks we liked that there was not a party every night.
Tango hostel has a very chilled vibe and if you want you can mingle and take part at the numerous activities, like BBQs, Tortilla dinner etc., which are great.
If you come to Cordoba you should stay there!

This small and warm hostel offers you everything you need. The staff is outstanding nice and give you a lot of helpful travelling tips. The kitchen is well equipped and so is the rest of the hostel There are dinners you can share and the owner always makes sure to keep the buena onda! If you are travelling alone its the best place to meet people and you will have a lot of fun with the colombian brother!
