OK, so people either hate it or like it. We felt like we were in an old I Love Lucy episode where they take their cross-country trip. After finding out the prices for hotels in Page, this was a god-send. On the plus side we found it to be very clean. Even the carpets weren't so bad that you felt you had to wear shoes all the time. It did have those old creapy orange/brown shiny bedspreads so common in cheaper motels, but once we took that off and folded it away, it felt much better. The decor is sort of flea market, but that's ok. Like I said, we did find it clean. And, don't forget your shampoo, etc. because all they provide is a very small bar of soap. The adjoining restaurant was likewise a blast from the past, like a lodge/diner. And the sundries/gift shop was a hoot. I could swear that some of the stuff had dust on it like it had been sitting forever. Didn't stop them from having Navajo blankets for $400 a pop though.
