This hotel/hosteria is in an old house in a residential side street in Palermo. From the outside you wouldn't know it was a hotel so If you are traveling to it by taxi make sure you have the road name and house number as without they will be unlikely to find it for you. Its walking distance to metro station to go into the city centre as well as to the bars and restaurants of Palermo.
Inside the decor is really quirky mix of old and new. Our room was on the ground floor, it was a bit small but was clean and comfortable. There is a garden at the back of the house with sunny or shady spots (depending on how hot it is) to sit after a hard days sight seeing. The staff are really friendly and go out of their way to help you get the most out of your stay in BA, there is also a good selection of guide books to BA and Argentina.
If you need laundry doing just ask the staff for directions, its about a 5 minute walk away, its cheap and even offers an express 3 hour service. There are shared fridges stocked with a variety of cold drinks and eating areas so if you need to economise and can bring in stuff to make your self a snack.
