We considered going to the 'Broadway' production show across from our hotel, but the concierge guided us to El Querandí because it is considered more authentic. We were advised against going to the show on our own as it is not in a safe area so we opted for dinner and the show with a free pick up and return to our hotel for (around) $90 each in cash. We were assured that the steak option was a fine Argentinean meal and there were many other choices. Well, the meal was just adequate. The show, however, was well done. It covered the history of the tango through various eras. The dancers and the music were good. I didn’t think it was great value, but when you consider that it is dinner, a show and transportation, it’s not so bad. It wasn’t the best entertainment, but it was a pleasant way to spend the evening. The other three people I was with seemed to enjoy it all more than I did.
