“Great stay at Mine Hotel”
Reviewed April 26, 2014

Mine hotel is a wonderful boutique hotel that is in a great location in Palermo (20 mins by cab to the city centre and walking distance to restaurants). The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, and the room was nice and homely. Would stay here again.

My wife and I went on our Honeymoon and 1st Anniversary to South America at the end of March and early April 2014 and stayed at the Mine Boutique Hotel on a recommendation from our travel agent. The Mine Boutique Hotel was an awesome place to stay in the trendy part of Buenos Aires with a nice patio area with a pool for relaxing to the max. It was close to many restaurants, shops, markets, parks and just an awesome urban and safe environment. We had an awesome stay at the Mine Hotel, all the staff was excellent, very helpful and accommodating from the time we got to the hotel to the time we left at 6 a.m. on the day of our departure. The staff in the Lobby was very professional and extremely proficient in English. They made excellent suggestions for dinner and activities. The hotel staff in their breakfast area was superb and the omeletes made by the cooks were excellent, along with the coffee and other selections. They were prompt and very helpful. The rooms were very also very nice and comfortable. I would recommend the Mine Boutique to couple who like a great place to stay, close to many things and still have a homey environment. The staff was excellent and very helpful, even making us an expresso at 5:30 a.m. before we left!

Thoroughly recommended. Staff are friendly, helpful and fluent in English. 24-7 desk. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. A bit on the small side but plenty of places downstairs to relax. Close to shops, restaurants and public transport, free wifi. Loved it.

The location is really good if you want to stay in Palermo. In general terms is a good choice, but I would't say it is a luxury hotel. Here are the downsides: (i) there is no good acoustic isolation between the rooms (it was at #205), meaning that you neighbours can share their lovely moments in BA with you and vice-versa, (ii) room could be larger, (iii) service is better than average but still not good (unreplied request for reservation one day, person at the front desk did not inform us properly about the tricky location of the wine tasting at Anuva Wines, not enough waiters to replace stuff on breakfest), (iv) one poor cockroach at the bathroom. Breakfest is really good tough. The same for the lounge with TV and various books and travel guides. Perhaps if we have had a quiet room, the hotel would leave us with a better impression.

Room Tip: room 205 was a bit noisy.

We spent 3 nights here in April 2010. We loved the location in Palermo, funky neighbourhood with some great restaurants. The hotel staff were top notch. The hotel and room decor was very modern and attractive. We would highly recommend.

This is a great hotel in the heart of Palermo SoHo. Our first impression was of the staff who were incredibly friendly, spoke perfect English, and armed us with maps and information to make sure we had a pleasant stay in Buenos Aires.

It is a beautiful boutique hotel with a small pool. It was too cold to swim in April, but the courtyard was really pretty to look out on during breakfast, which was free and included omelets and pancakes on demand. The rooms are a decent size and very clean.

The area is surrounded by tons of great shops and restaurants. The only real trade off for being in such a trendy area is that it's a 15-20 minute walk to the subte and other sights.
