On our first visit to Argentina, almost 10 years ago, my wife and I went to this restaurant, on the recommendation of the hotel concierge. We were impressed then and just as happy with the total experience yesterday. Very nice salads, our steaks were done to perfection (med-rare) and great wine list.

The steak house had great quality food, reasonably priced. It was not among the cheaper parillas, but the service and quality of the food was good. The first night, we checked in late at our hotel, and by the time we arrived at the restaurant, it was around 11:15pm. The restaurant served food at least until 1am when we left. We were given great seats downstairs, towards the right, even though we just walked in, probably because it was getting late. The second night, already had reservations because we had emailed them before we arrived at Buenos Aires. However, they tried to seat us upstairs (aka Siberia), even though they had seats downstairs. So we asked for seats downstairs and they obliged. From what we saw later, it seemed that they sent many tourists or groups with children upstairs. The various cuts of steak here is great. We liked the ribeye the most, and we also ordered sweetbreads (the large flat ones, not the smaller ones, as they have two types). The salads were also fresh and tasty. The waiters are very professional and helpful--they also speak some English too. The atmosphere is very lively and many locals go to the restaurant. Great Argentinian wine list.

The location is excellent (la recova is around the corner from recoleta and retiro, where the best hotels are located).

The restaurant serves great meat and the waiters are extremely nice and efficient.
Rstaurant was filled with older people and tourists and I was the only table with 3 small children. Even so, the service was flawless and the kids enjoyed the restaurant.

We had a delightful steak dinner with some of their moderately priced Malbec. The food was delicious, and service was very good. The waiter was attentive but discrete. A very enjoyable experience.
