I was a regular here for a long time when it first opened. Prices have obviously kept up with inflation but the original charm and the quality of the food are intact. I recommend it less for tourists and more for locals.

1.) Order is taken outside by a waitress, but then someone inside at the bar insists we order there as there is no table service.

2.) Prices are higher than London prices...even for local beers.

3.) Order is forgotten for over an hour -- when confronted about the issue, waitress gets confrontational and insists it's not her fault.

4.) Food is mediocre and inauthentic -- this is not real Indian food.

Please don't waste your time or money here -- eat at a better Indian restaurant in Buenos Aires, or get your beer from another bar. Why do you need to pretend you're in London in Buenos Aires anyway?

An associate and I visited this pub while in Buenos Aires on business a few days ago. There were a total of four people in our party, but only he and I had the pale ale that was on tap. We have both been suffering from horrific food poisoning symptoms since, while the other two in our party are feeling fine.

I don't have to tell you that dealing with these symptoms during a 10 hour flight back to the states is not fun. Stick to the bottled beer at Bangalore.

This is one of the several Indian restaurants in Buenos Aires, and - so far - I have found them all to be quite decent in the taste department. Sure they tend to throw cheese on their naan like it's a pizza for local taste, and hardly anything is really spicy; yet, overall the food is not so different from - say - Indian food in the US. So it is palatable if not most authentic of life. While the mezzanine level is lovely to eat, here, it may be better to go earlier as by 9pm it is full of a loud bar crowd downstairs and fills up quickly with dining couples, as well. Drinks and dessert are limited, but not bad options.
