I have been returning to this place for six years and eating lunch in the beautiful patio. The food has always been excellent although the prices continue to escalate. Don't bother going to the wine store of the same name across the street. Their prices are a rip off and the service is dishonest. Three times they promised to send me information for an upcoming trip to Cafayate by email and failed to do so even after I returned remind them multiple times. They just want to rip you off on their wine. But the restaurant is good for lunch.

Recommended by our hotel but a huge mistake. Service was the Worst we've encountered in Buenos Aires or just about anywhere in this price range.
The server struggled to remove the foil from our wine a decided to leave shredded foil all over the table. Dishes were poorly described. Only the desserts partially redeemed this meal. Avoid at all costs!!

We asked our concierge for a good, romantic restaurant in Palermo and he was so keen in sending us to Cabernet.
Well, what I think is that they were either having a bad night or the hotels must get a commission on the patrons they send through that door as the food and service was incredibly below Palermo's standard.
Our server was extremely slow and got confused with the order (I do speak spanish). We asked for a glass of Malbec and she said they didn't have any (???) then a more experienced server came to our table to ask us what kind of we wanted and finally got our order of Malbec.
We had a chicken salad and pate as starter.
The portion of the pate would scare anyone, it was two massive lumps of pate, taste was just average.
The chicken salad was ok (I mean, how could you get it wrong? it's grilled chicken on salad!).
As a main we wanted a chicken salad and the white salmon. Instead we received two white salmon which were average, the fish was lacking in taste (which tasted more like monkfish than a salmon) and it's not worth mentioning let alone being called fine dining.
The decor looked liked it lacked a professional eye. Posters of wines on the walls do not belong to a "fine dining" restaurant.
Overall, between the slow and untrained service (save for a lady (manager) that was spot on) and the average food, this is a place to miss in Palermo. There are other restaurants that deliver better food.

Good atmosphere, regular service, the presentation of the food is very good, you can seat outside or inside. Well considering everything I can say I had a great experience there.
One point, the entrees are large, if you are in 2 people you can easily share the entree.

The Lomo de salsa was average, tasteless without the sauce...and meat from this country shouldn't be that way. AuGratin potatoes and the ravioli were awesome, as was the wine. Wait at a nearby competitor was ridiculous so came here to find ample seating, just in time however because shortly after sitting the place was packed. Atmosphere was perfect for a romantic night out on our honeymoon.
