“Wonderful Evening”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

We opted for 2 VIP Dinner tickets and were quite pleased! When we arrived we were ushered to a nice little private box for the two of us very near the stage. The dinner was actually very good (we got to order from a VIP menu). The steaks we had were honestly some of the best I'd had in 5 days in Buenos Aires - seriously and we ate at some great parrillas during our stay. All courses were good, actually. And the wine we received was quite good - and I'm not sure what people speak of only geting one bottle and of it being an average bottle? We drank our first one by the time the appetizers came (we were early), and asked if we could have another - no problem - and it was very good! I did notice the VIP folks had a different wine than the non-VIP so maybe that makes a difference? Service was good, popping in and out periodically. No problems there. The show itself was quite good - probably not the BEST in the city, but we (and the packed house) enjoyed it immensely and would do it again in a heartbeat. The dinner starts about 8:30p and the show starts at 10:15 or so and goes until midnight, FYI. All in all - I'd say give it a shot, and splurge for the VIP if you can swing it!

“Oh.....My......God!!!!!”

The show appropriately honors the greatest tango composer of all time. The dancers are gorgeous and supremely talented. The live orchestra is over-the-top wonderful. The production is splendid on every level. I cannot imagine a finer experience. This in itself made our journey to Argentina worth while. It's a fantastic value.

The food was good. Clearly you can eat better in BsAs.

Do yourself a favor and attend.

Great food, wine acceptable, price a little high, very beautiful spectacle, old tangos but also with recent, including the brand new electronic tango.

“Good show Bad food”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

The show the dancers were good, but the singers im not sure about that.
The food questionable: we called them and asked if they had vegetarian food, they said they have 3 options. When we go there they had one soup. And it’s a prefixed menu so you are stuck. $100 USD and no food. The dessert was bad.
We were informed that wine was one the house, when we got there it was only one bottle for 2 people, which is fine but I don’t drink red wine and my husband does not like white. The sodas are suppose to be endless, but nobody comes around to ask you for 2nds.
The waiters do not speak English.
The tango dance lessons are average, the enthusiasm of the dance instructors is nice.
The good thing is they pick up and drop you.
From what I gather all the shows there are the same, good show bad food. So really pick any. This one atleast the setting was nice.
