When was the last time that a waiter told you "No, one salad for the two of you and one entree will be enough"? It happened at La Cabrera, the old-time Buenos Aires steak house in Palermo. We ended up with an arugula salad and a great piece of steak, done just to perfection. However, we had more. Generous bread service is accompanied by various dips and kinds of butter. When your meal arrives, more small things appear to make your meal more piquant and interesting. And, to top it off, great wine.
The salad was not great but not enough to curb our enthusiasm for the great service and really excellent steak.
