Small restaurant in San Telmo. Food was very tasty. But be prepared for fried fish on the main courses. We had the shrimp (fried), the Pollo Haiti, and the Cerviche for 3 people. The restaurant is quite small and the music is a bit loud. But, a good choice for dinner in that area.

As the name indicates, you get the flavour of latin america on your plate.
Very lovely and uncomplicaded, little spot, with a range of vegetarian, fish and meat options. Aperitivos, vino and postre also available.
Cubierto were taco crisps with a delicious portobello (mushroom) cream (10 Peso each).
Quesadilla was crispy and deliciously filled, aside a bean salad with onions (70). The other dish with rice, fish, gamba, coriander (ok, and a lot of oil)... hmmmm (135)!
Delicious food, lovely place, friendly staff and people.

I've been twice to Mercadito Latino and have enjoyed it both times. The space is very small and cheerful and specializes in food from Mexico, Peru and even Colombia. The ingredients are fresh and plates flavorful. The burrito I tried was good, not ultra authentic, but very tasty. The second visit I tried the ceviche, which was good, but lacking a bit in seasoning.

We were shopping on Sunday in San Telmo district where they have a great outdoor market every Sunday. we went into this small restaurant about a block away from the main fair as it was a hot day and we wanted to sit down for lunch and be away from the crowd a little. It is a cute place with great decor that specialize in Mexican, Peruvian and Argentinian food and the food was absolutely delicious. We shared a Ceviche for appetizer and was one of the best ceviche I've had. We then had different dishes that had a fusion Mexican and Peruvian flare that was very tasty. My wife had a quinoa salad with fish and I had a dish called arepas that had chicken, guacomole, cheese sandwiched between white corn tortilla. My daughter had chorizo quesedilla. They were all excellent. So if you are down there shopping on a Sunday and you really should as it's a great travel experience, try this place for lunch. You won't regret it.

Walked in at the last minute, great surprise! Had some yummy fried yucca and actually had corn chips! I was most excited about them! Nice veggie options for the non meat eater and affordable! I will go back!
