The food was fine, the orchestra excellent and the dancers did their best with their Vegas-style costumes and very small, low-ceilinged stage. Only three tables back, I had to stand to see the footwork for which tango is famous. Rather expensive, too. I wish we had gone to a more traditional venue.

To see a tango show in the limited time we had in Buenos Aires was on the top of our list, but it was not easy to decide which one to pick. We read some good reviews of this Rojo tango show, which was quite expensive. We decided to do this one mainly because it had only VIP seats and did not have too many people, so I thought we would be able to get front row seats. It turned out that the place was small and was quite crowded - there were probably 80 to 100 people. Because it was a dinner show, so there were tables and chairs. Not sure who would get front row seats where one could get a clear view of the dancers' foot work. Our table was kind of the third row. Fortunately there was a big post behind me so I watched the show standing up, which was good. Dinner started shortly after 8:30pm. The show started after dinner, and finished around mid-night.

The dinner was so-so, but the show was fantastic! The dancers were very professional and very good. It opened our eyes on what Argentina Tango was like. We enjoyed it very much.

The show was excellent. The atmosphere is great. It is an intimate venue and dancers, singers and musicians are all superb. For the price, we were expecting a better dinner. The food was average at best. Given the price, I was expecting some fantastic Argentinian beef but got a ho-hum piece of meat with a few vegetables. Overall, a good experience but I would probably skip the dinner.

We had the meal first, could not believe the quality we have never had such a wonderful meal at a dinner and show. The dancing was amazing and was far better evening tan we could have anticipated

Remarkable show!! Do not be alarmed by the cost, as it is worth it. Have the dinner and you get right up front and the meal is great. Free pouring of wine and it is pretty good. The dancers are the best I have seen, and the band is over the top fantastic. Only slight complaint is that it is a bit long and the chairs are brutally uncomfortable. Overall a MUST in BA
