The Rojo Tango "Show" (in the very unique Faena Hotel) is a show, not where you dance at any point. The dancers and small lounge provided the most memorable night of our stay in Buenos Aires. We were concerned that the 8 p.m. start would be too late for our first night after our international flight arrived in the morning. But, we came from a time zone that meant 8 p.m. was really 5 p.m. The dancers and five piece orchestra were VERY polished and put everything into the performance emotionally and physically. The dinner was excellent with all the wine you could consume.

My husband and I enjoyed an unforgettable evening at the Rojo Tango show. Jimena (1st Class Argentina) avowed that this show was a must-see, and she was right!!! The show is set in the intimate Tango Salon at the ‘glamorous’ Faena Hotel. Jimena suggested that we arrive early so we could enjoy a cocktail by the pool. The setting at the Faena was intriguingly romantic. After cocktails, we enjoyed exceptional wine, good food, and superb service (the wine never stopped flowing). The sexy cabaret performance, boasting an exceptional orchestra with five-star dancers and choreography, left us desiring more (will have to go back). Thanks Jimena for magnificent recommendations and a wonderfully planned trip!!!

Great food, great wine, great service, and an even better show! I cannot say enough great things about the show, a definite must if you're traveling to Buenos Aires. We had a driver to and from the show from our hotel so no need to find a taxi. I would definitely do it again if returning to the area.

We splurged and attended this dinner/show experience. Transportation from and to our hotel was included and the service was excellent. Dinner was good with as much wine as you wish. Service was attentive and the show was stunningly memorable. The musicians were world class and the tango dancing was varied and excellent. The dinner and show package is very expensive, but worth doing once if you are traveling all the way from the U.S. to Buenos Aires as we did.

This was very pricey and we didn't even get there in time for the dinner part. Our group of 9 slinked out one by one about 20 minutes into the show. The venue was quite nice, small and intimate; every seat in the house is pretty good--obviously some seats better than other. The dancers were extremely talented, but after 5 dances it was just more of the same. Seriously, this is something that is for people interested in dance and tango in particular. I would venture to guess this is one of the better touristy shows because it was classy, adult, and the venue was nice, but I wouldn't say this is a must-see for anyone visiting Argentina. I'm guessing that travel agents get a large kick-back for sending people to see these shows, because Argentina is about so much more. We enjoyed seeing the street dancers at San Telmo on Sunday and in La Boca (sp?) much more, and that was free.
