The hostel is quite clean and well-maintained. Within Belgrano, it's well-situated: away from the noise, but close enough to walk to shops, coffee houses, etc. But Belgrano itself is a long way from anywhere you'd want to visit (25 minutes by subte to downtown) and you don't really feel like you're in Buenos Aires.
There's lots of large pots for cooking, but not much else. Some of the staff were helpful, some seemed more interested in chatting on the phone to their friends.
