I was probably in the worst part of Buenos Aires, but I absolutely LOVED it. I was a lone female traveler, and I walked the streets cautiously to the hostel, but no one ever bothered me. I met so many locals here and not so many tourists which was awesome. I had my own locker to put my things in, and locked up my suitcase with my personal mini locks. I would bring a padlock just in case you might need it. I met so many great people here, ones I would call lifetime friends. There was a kitchen here and so many people cooked group dinners to eat together. There was a grocery store close by. Man, there was an awesome empanada store soooooo close by, and I highly highly recommend people to eat there... it's too bad I could not remember the name. I also would like to add that the showers were a little bare and not for the timid. Great stay here and great people. So freaking cheap!! Oh and two computers for internet which I had no problem using... people were so nice.
