Palmero is a huge neighbourhood broken up into several sub districts. It has a very nice vibe to it with plenty of shopping and dining options. One of the great features are the splendid large parks including the botanical gardens (free entry). The zoo is also in palmero and the entry fee is about US/AUS $10.

Palermo is a fabulous feast of creativity... including funky fashion, delicious food and sultry tango. Great for shopping, eating and dancing.

It is a very good location to stay as a tourist on your visit to Buenos Aires.
Palermo has a lot of the traditional aspects of BsAs that you want to see, mixed with a lot of restaurants, walking areas, parks, shopping.
Don´t miss Plaza Serrano for a special cultural experience
