Stayed here with the kids in 2 rooms in January. First the location is greats. Walking to restaurants, bars, coffee shops etc. not sure I agree with the other reviews in the staff, they were curiouser, ordered car service, shows and dinners for us and were always willing to help. The rooms are clean and comfy but not big, though it is a suite, it's smaller then any decent hotel room in the us but this is city leaving and the price is decent for the location. We were not disappointed and would recommend this place.

The pictures of the hotel looked great. It was not. We were in the penthouse suite and even though it was big it was shabby. The walls chipped and cracked, floor bleached and really not up tp the price we paid. We asked for cushions for the outside loungers on our deck ... we are still waiting. The deck was rotting and you had to take care not to catch your foot on the nails sticking up out of the deck. The noise from the cafe below at night felt like you were sleeping in it. The location is great and it is fab area but the hotel is very expensive for what you get.

Stayed at Soho suites a few nights in December. To start with, I found the front desk folks rather
disinterested and not really courteous. They did not even offer to bring my luggage upstairs.

The room was ok, no frill but as previously mentioned by other guests the level of noise in the hotel is really off the charts. One can hear any and every door being closed in the floor or the elevator for that matter. In addition, there is a club next door playing loud music late into the night. Not really conducive to a good night of sleep.

A couple of other things I found rather cheap. Espresso or cappuccino at Bfast are only provided at an extra charge. The regular coffee offered is totally undrinkable and seems to be sitting there since 6 AM. For $ 175 a night, one could expect that espresso was at least offered in the morning. By the way, the (cold) Bfast is rather basic and unappealing. Total waste of money.
In the room, even a regular bottle of water is for sale in the "mini bar". I have travelled and stayed in a lot of hotels and usually, a couple of free bottles of water are offered to the guests. Not at Soho.
One can find a much better deal and much better service, at this price, in Palermo and BsAs in general. Would not recommend this place and will net be back there.

I was very excited to stay at this hotel as the reviews on TripAdvisor seemed great. Upon check in, the front desk told us breakfast was included in the price we paid. When we got to breakfast on the second day, we were turned away and told it wasn't included. The staff at the front desk are less than friendly, with the exception of Eber who was nice to us during our stay. On the day of checkout, we asked for the front desk to arrange for a taxi pickup and he told us he couldn't do that. Additionally, the front door to the hotel remains locked and you need to buzz the desk to get in each time. We came home around 4am, and the place was dark and we rang the bell numerous times before someone let us in and he was not pleased. The rooms are fine, nothing special, but no complaints. The one pro to this hotel is the amazing location - so if you can get past the service (or lack thereof), it's a good place to stay as its close to bars, clubs, restaurants, shopping, etc and is in a relatively safe neighborhood.

Clean, good-value hotel right in the heart of Palermo. 2 block from Plaza Serrano and 2 blocks from Plaza Armenia, location could not be better. Breakfast is not great and the elevator small, but the rooms are spotless and fresh.
