Fellini's is a marvel. From the moment you enter both the welcome you receive and the food you can smell cooking invite you into this family run restaurant. We went on a Friday night and had booked in advance - good job as was full. Opens at 9pm and closes after midnight.

The service is attentive, natural, friendly, informative, and not overbearing from both generations of Fellini Senoras!

The food was delicious home-cooked fayre and superb value. The Menu was fixed: a 9 dish (I kid you not) starter selection, a fresh pasta course (lovely ravioli served in a deep pan), a chicken casserole, and 4 (again, no joke!) small dessert selection. MAKE SURE YOU ARRIVE WITH AN EMPTY STOMACH!

Excellent choice of wines with good advice.

We had a wonderful and very memorable evening - Fellini's is a great, friendly restaurant with ample, expertly cooked home-style Italian food at very reasonable prices. Thanks to the Fellini's!

Under new management Fellini offers fresh ingredients and clean Mediterranean flavors. The fixed price meal ($20 US) started out with 10 different appetizers followed by a pasta course, a meat course, then finished off with an array of tasty deserts. This was old fashioned dining at its best, great food that was meant to be enjoyed over a glass of wine and at a leisurely pace. This will be my go to dining spot when I am next in Buenos Aires.

Triggered by the Tripadvisor score we went on January 3th to Maria Fedele. Arriving on Bolivar 933 the name on the windows presented the Restaurant as Fellini. The lady opening the door mentioned their good Tripadvisor score, so we went inside.

The menu system is still based upon: just wait and see. Choosing the right wine appeared a bit complicated, as we would like our white wine coming form a cold storage rather then from the shelf of the obvious warm restaurant.

The restaurant staff was very nice and helpful but in many ways lack the necessary experience in serving. It all looked somewhat clumsy, as if it was their first day.

The first starter contained 8 plates with different kinds of well prepared food. The amounts were king size, we were able to eat just about 50% of it. So we asked the attendant to cut the upcoming portions with 50%. The second platter contained a large amount of spaghetti of reasonable quality, but awaiting the main course we just eat 10% of it.
The main course came with an appropriate amount and was of an excellent taste.
Desert again contained 4 different plates with very nice tastes. We reject the kind offer of the waitress on replacing the plates we had eaten.

We finished our diner with a curious detail. Upon request my partner ordered a tea while I preferred an Espresso. We both then got an empty cup served. My partners tea came with no problem. My cup was cold, normally the latter would be a disgrace for a Barista, but here it was of no problem because the cup staid empty, even when the staff brought us the bill and later on when we paid the bill.
