We loved the decor and style of the hotel - it felt like we were on the set of Mad Men! Staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool/garden area was a lovely place to relax and the mojitos were really tasty. Only negative was the breakfast. I like to have a 'help-yourself' style breakfast rather than being served a pre-set breakfast, but I don't think they do this as the restaurant is also open to the public which would make it a little tricky. However, there are so many fabulous brunch options in the vicinity, that we ended up going out for breakfast instead. Wanted to try the spa but didn't get a chance. The guide that they have produced was amazing and we used it every day - a real bonus. We also stayed in Palermo Soho (Mine Hotel) and they are both very similar.

There are so many good things about this hotel. It is in a real neighborhood - shaded residential streets and good shops and restaurants, with students, older couples, and young families strolling. The young hotel staff is immediately welcoming and endlessly helpful. Their suggestions for dining were spot on. The pool and garden are lovely and dining outdoors was a treat. The breakfast was a multi-course array of appealing and healthy tastes contained artfully in an array of small containers. The restaurant is small and the food and coktails are very good. Neighbors come for Sunday brunch. Our superior room was serene, with light weight alpaca throw, vintage-reference wall paper panels, and a big window looking out into garden trees. Mid-century modern lobby with stacks of good reading and a computer terminal for guests to use. (We used the free room wifi.) We loved this place. If there is one caution to offer, it would be for those who prefer the convenience of being close to the main tourist sites. You'll need to take taxis, walk long distances or brave the very crowded and sometimes unfriendly subways to reach Recoleta, Bellas Artes, MALBA, etc. But then, the Home staff summons cabs with ease and will coach you on subway safety.

Room Tip: We liked being on the garden side, one flight up for light and privacy. The restaurant patio was ju...

We stayed here for five nights from February 11 - February 16, 2013. From the time we arrived, exhausted after 11 hour flight and two hours at airport sorting out reciprocity tax (yes you have to pay $160/pp just to visit), everyone at the staff was attentive, friendly, offered suggestions as to how to spend our days. The pool side suite is wonderful, as is the tray service each morning with fresh fruit, juices, eggs (if you choose), croissants, etc. If you are looking for tango, they know where to go....lessons, done. reservations...done. We enjoyed just sitting by the pool or bar with their friendly cat chatting about the possibilities of each day. A definite return visit.

Room Tip: Pool side suite!

We spent 4 nights at Home and really loved it. The garden was lovely for breakfast and drinks in the evening, the room was great, the cocktails were really good, but above all the reception staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We spent one night at an estancia and they were happy to keep our suitcases overnight until we returned for a further night so we could travel to the estancia with an overnight bag. If I was returning to Buenos Aires I would definitely like to stay at Home again.

A warm welcome upon arrival. Staff are friendly and helpful, giving great recommendations. In a great location, 10 minute walk to the subway and surrounded by great restaurants, bars and shopping. The cocktails at the bar downstairs, definitely a must, which can be enjoyed by the pool in the outdoor garden. You can tell the staff are happy and passionate about what they do. Great attention to detail, would highly recommend to stay here whilst in Buenos.

The nicest staff, excellent value for the money, home is really great!
The best part is the pool/garden area ( Quilmes, wine, mojitos... )
- and you can take breakfast listening to The Black Keys or David Bowie.
The rooms are also very special. The ones at the first floor,
with large windows facing the street, just makes you feel... at home.
