My boyfriend and I stayed at Home Hotel and absolutely loved it. The service is beyond expectation, the location is steps away from the best restaurants and boutiques, and the food by the pool is outstanding. My boyfriend is in the music business and could not stop commenting on (and shazamming) the very cool selection of music playing throughout the lobby and pool side area. (It's no wonder since the owner of the hotel used to be a music producer in Britain.) The pool is quite small but so is the hotel, so there aren't that many people sharing it. It really felt like our own private pool. We met a young couple from New York and they had gotten the suite which they said was way too big for just the two of them, but would be ideal if they were traveling with one or two other couples. Our room was the regular room and perfect for us. The Home Hotel is not a scene or flashy in any way, like the Faena, which we also stayed at. It's chic, intimate, casual, authentic cool with a bit of a retro design esthetic. Upon check in, they give you an up to date mini-book of recos which is amazing! Toss the fodor's or the lonely planet and carry use this little book. When I return to Buenos Aires, I will definitely be staying at Home.

We stayed at Home Hotel for three nights. Unfortunately during our stay my husband was pickpocketed on the subway in BA losing cash and a mobile phone. When we told the reception staff they could have not been more helpful and sympathetic. On hearing of our misfortune, Patricia the owner called our room to again offer help and support, even offering to get a member of staff to accompany us to the police station . We were very touched by this gesture and extremely grateful. Since returning to the UK my husband has needed to get some additional information for insurance purposes and Patricia was not only quick to respond but again incredibly helpful.
Everything was briliant about Home from the little book of local information through to their legendary breakfasts but for us, their help and support during our mishap makes their hotel even more special and worth recommending.

I'm so glad we chose this lovely hotel for our 5 day stay in Buenos Aires. It's a beautiful place and the staff are so helpful, especially the fellow who's on the front desk in the evenings (Andres) who goes out of his way to give the guests suggestions and advice to make their stay better.

Home is all about the service. The staff continuously went out of their way to see what they can do make my stay in Buenos Aires special. When we arrived the hotel manager sat with us for 15 minutes to review the map of Buenos Aires and tell us how she would spend three days in BA. The hotel created a "Home" guide with their preferred spots in Palermo, and all recommendations were right on. The room was comfortable, modern and featured a great amount of light. We never woke up in time for breakfast, but the garden/restaurant to eat breakfast, or drink coffee/cocktails is charming. It is obvious a lot of thought went into the design. The pool is small, but quiet and relaxing, and a great way to start your day. I prefer to try new hotels when I travel, but if I am lucky enough to make it back to BA I won't shop around!

What a little piece of heaven in fastpaced B.A. My wife and I had a great time and we treated like royalty at Home. After now being home for a week, we are still craving the HOME breakfast. The staff was exceptional and the drinks were incredible. The bloody mary's were great, on the HOT side, beautiful. Take the directions from the HOME booklet, they recomended great restaurants, we strayed a couple of time from it and paid for it! We will be back.

Very stylish hotel and lovel comfortable beds. The best part about staying here was the great location in pallermo as it is so close to lots of bars and great places to eat.

What a great place to stay! The hotel is a real hidden gem and although it is not cheap, it compares favourably and you certainly get what you pay for. On arrival you are given a little booklet with various recommendations from the hotel - whether it is restarurants, bars, shops etc which was really useful. The concierge service helped us with all our bookings and were friendly and helpful.
The rooms are great and the pool is an added bonus. The breakfasts are lovely (with slightly eccentric juice flavours) but the servings are not huge.
Location was great - really liked Palermo and there are so many choices for bars and restaurants within a stones throw it would have been easy to stay in the neighbourhood the whole time.
